Because WTC Amsterdam is constantly busy reviewing sustainable projects, there is continious research and investigation in possibilities.
The situation at present is
- 2 wind turbines on the roof of the H-Tower (operational from February 1, 2011)
- 55 solar (PV) panels on the roof of the A-Tower (operational from August 16, 2011)
Purpose is to acquire experience connected with sustainable solutions. An important element is the evaluation of profits. Therefore both systems have been equiped with a measuring system with which the result can be read at a distance. These results will be compared with each other on a daily basis in order to asses the comparison in terms of investment, capacity and productivity whereby it will be possible to obtain the highest quality and maintain a continious development on the basis of sustainability.
